Temperatures across the UK will plunge (Image: WXCHARTS)
And the brutal conditions show no sign of easing off as we go into March 30. The North west, Perth and Kinross, Scottish Highlands and Angus are all likely to see snowfall.
Temperatures will also take a nosedive, in many areas across the UK the mercury will struggle to rise above an icy 0C.
The minimum temperature in Scotland, the North west and North east will be a bone chilling -1C, maximum temperatures are only likely to reach a miserable 1C.
South and North Wales will see lows of 1C whilst West Wales experience ever so slightly warmer temperatures of 2C.
London, East of England and the South West may escape the snow but they will not escape the icy conditions with the mercury only likely to reach between 3C-4C.
Seperately, in the ‘s weather outlook for this period the forecaster is warning that “unsettled conditions” are likely for many parts of the UK.
