Jack Draper clinched the most significant victory of his career as he won the Indian Wells title on Sunday. The British tennis ace defeated Holger Rune 6-2, 6-2 in the final to .
The 23-year-old became British No.1 last year and now sits seventh in the world rankings after defeating the likes of and on his way to the final in California. victory at Indian Wells saw him pocket the huge £927,000 ($1.2million) grand prize, following on from finishing runner-up at the Qatar Open last month. Net worth and prize money
According to , Draper has earned £5.14m ($6.65m) in prize money since turning pro in 2018. His Indian Wells winnings add to his previous ATP title victories at the Stuttgart and Vienna Opens last year. Draper also recorded his best Grand Slam performance in 2024, reaching the semi-finals of the US Open.
These victories and impressive results have contributed to Draper’s net worth reaching an estimated £2.3m ($3m), though that figure will likely increase after his Indian Wells win. Draper has various sponsorship deals, including with Nike, and has also earned a name in the modelling world.

“I’ve been lucky in my life to have a couple of really amazing connections with people,” Draper said to . “For me, it’s more about someone who has got ambition, their own purpose in life, who’s non-judgmental, someone with good values.
“The most important thing to me right now is becoming the best tennis player I can be, especially the way the world is at the moment with all that [dating app] stuff. I’d rather meet someone out of genuine, almost coincidence, or when I’m focused on something else.”
Successful dad
The rising tennis star is the son of Roger Draper, a renowned sports executive. He served as the chief executive of Sport England from 2003 to 2006, before taking up the same role at the Lawn Tennis Association (LTA) between 2006 and 2013, and later at rugby league club Warrington Wolves from 2015 to 2017.

During his tenure at the LTA, Draper spearheaded a new initiative named ‘Blueprint, a Strategy for British Tennis’. The plan aimed to overhaul the governing body, making it more efficient and effective. His efforts led to a staggering 500 per cent increase in British Tennis memberships. He also played a pivotal role in launching programmes to attract newcomers to the sport. Since 2018, he has been serving as the global business advisor for Boston Consulting Group (BCG).
As for his son, Jack, he was born on December 22, 2001, in Sutton, England, and spent his childhood in Ashtead, Surrey. The tennis ace attended Parkside School in Stoke d’Abernon, Cobham, before moving to Reed’s School in the same town for two years.
The Indian Wells champion is the son of Roger and Nicky Draper. His mother is a former junior British tennis champion. He also has a brother named Ben, who pursued tennis at the University of California.

Tennis star housemate
Draper lives with British tennis player Paul Jubb. After moving out of his family home in Surrey, Draper and Jubb moved in together and they get along well, with only the occasional disagreement over housework and cooking.
“I’m enjoying being able to wash my own clothes. There’s been the odd shrinking disaster, but we’re back on track,” Draper told .
Jubb boasts a strong record at the ATP Challenger and ITF Futures/World Tennis Tour finals, having won nine and lost just two in his career. The 25-year-old, like his roommate Draper, has yet to secure a major singles final victory, but both are aiming to make their mark in the world of tennis.
