One regular face was missing from ITV’s Good Morning Britain on Monday. Richard Madely announced that his and ‘s co-star, Richard Arnold, would not be joining them – but a star from … Get Me Out of Here! would be stepping in instead.
Richard Madeley announced: “As we said before the break, we have brought in someone very special to replace Richard Arnold, because he’s away on his jollies at the moment. Our entertainment correspondent today is a fantastic dancer, he loves DJing, he adores Carol Vorderman and has so got the hots for Carol.

“He took part in last year’s … Get Me Out of Here! It’s Melvin Odoom! Before we hand over the reigns to him, let’s remind ourselves of his time in the jungle.” The ITV show then cut to clips of Melvin competing on I’m a Celeb.
After the video, Richard Madeley asked: “Have you met Carol?” Melvin replied: “I can’t tell you why, but I met her last week for a very secret project. And she was glorious and lovely.
“It was amazing. We actually took a little selfie together which I posted online the other day. But yeah, she’s really cool.”
Susanna then quipped: “And is there going to be a second date?” But Melvin remained tight lipped, saying: “It wasn’t… I can’t say why we met. I see what you’re doing there! But we met and I will tell you all very, very soon.”
Don’t miss… [REACTION] [UPDATE]
Before the break, the show had shared a sneak peek of Melvin taking over the entertainment reigns. He said: “Hey guys, thank you so much. It’s great to be here and I’m so excited, I can’t lie.”
In I’m a Celeb’s final week, Melvin became the fourth star to leave the jungle and was on the spin-off show I’m A Celebrity: Unpacked.
He gushed: “So she went on Unpacked with Joel Dommett, so when I came out, I had all these beautiful messages [from her] which they played out on the show.
“To be honest, she’s my genuine crush and to get messages from Carol Vorderman was pretty much enough for me. But when I’ve been in the street or on the train, everyone’s just been like, ‘Oh my God, Melvin has Carol messaged you yet?’”
