and Princess Kate have shared a rare insight into what their weekends look like as a family away from the royal spotlight. While William, 42, and Kate, 43, may be the future King and Queen of the UK, they are also the proud parents of Prince George, 11, Princess Charlotte, nine, and Prince Louis, six.
Despite often being busy with their royal duties, the couple have always , which is part of the reason behind their move to a smaller residence in Windsor in 2022. William and Kate have also tried to give their children as ordinary an upbringing as possible. This was shown through a comment made by the couple on Saturday, which shows that behind the royal titles, they are not too far different from other families across the UK.

Before on Saturday, William and Kate met injured players supported by the Welsh Rugby Charitable Trust.
, when speaking to former players about their careers, William and Kate spoke about their two sons George and Louis, who both love the sport.
The doting parents revealed that they spend their weekends watching their sons compete in rugby games – an activity many parents can relate to.
When talking to players on Saturday about George and Louis’ love of rugby, William said: “At weekends, we go from one competition to the next.”

Kate then said: “Louis is six and he’s just started touch rugby and George is 11 and he plays a bit more. They do really enjoy it.”
While this is one of the first times the couple have shared an insight into this area of their weekend routine, it is not a surprise to some, with both Kate and William having been spotted supporting all three of their children from the sidelines of pitches before. This includes watching their children compete in sporting events at their school Lambrook, including their daughter Princess Charlotte.
