The 100 countries you can fly to from UK airports have been revealed, providing even more choices and ease for travel-loving Brits. According to the Henley Passport Index, the British is ranked 6th globally as of 2025, allowing visa-free access to an impressive 186 destinations.

Alongside visa-on-arrival access to so many destinations, Brits also have a wide choice when it comes to destinations to which they can fly. Aviation analyst delved further into the sheer number of destinations Brits are able to fly to without needing to change planes, which sits at an impressive 100 countries.

This comes as a whopping 930,430 flights are set to depart from UK this year, with having the lion’s share when it comes to international departures and is one of the best-connected airports in the world.

will see roughly 237,560 flights to a whopping 218 destinations, with flying direct to 217 destinations, Stansted Airport with 201 and Luton Airport with 127.

Outside London, Manchester was found to be the best connected airport with 197 routes, followed by Edinburgh with 155, Birmingham with 135, Bristol with 119 and Glasgow International with 89.

A European destination that will see a large increase in flights, and comes as little surprise, is .

A total of 135,123 flights will depart from the UK to 29 destinations in Spain, and the country expects around 20.5 million British passengers to embark on them.

In fact, Brits’ love for Spain and Majorca, in particular, will see endless options for 2025 thanks to the 18,199 flights from the UK to the Balearic island.

As for our other favourite Spanish beach destinations, the top five included Alicante with 17,401 flights, Malaga with 16,819, Tenerife with 14,693 and Barcelona with 14,221.

The Netherlands will also see an impressive 38,121 flights departing from Britain in 2025.

Other European spots hailed as the ultimate weekend break thanks to the sheer amount of flights include Dublin (32,686 flights), Paris (16,839), Barcelona (14,221), Madrid (9,466), Lisbon (8,924), Copenhagen (8,768) and Istanbul (8,377).

Staying in Europe, Italy will also see 31 destinations with around 47,347 flights, while Germany will see 17 destinations flown into with 43,774 flights.

Interestingly, there will be more flights in 2025 to Luxembourg (2,400) compared to South Africa (1,993) despite the African country being a popular tourist spot.

Moving farther afield, Brits heading to New York will benefit from its 9,349 flights to the USA’s capital, with the country seeing 32 more destinations added. However, it will also have fewer departures, with 47,823 US-bound flights leaving the UK in 2025.

Among the more surprising countries with a direct flight link to the UK is Senegal, thanks to Tui’s service to Dakar, which was launched in 2022.

Another interesting note is that there will be more flights to Saudi Arabia (3,105) than to Mexico (1,740) in 2025 and more flights to Bahrain (1,224) than to Thailand (1,202)

Three new countries with direct flights from the UK include available Turks and Caicos with Virgin Atlantic), Georgia with both British Airways and EasyJet and Iraq.
