Customers are being urged not to eat from certain jars of sushi ginger sold at and , over fears they may contain glass. Manufacturer Kelly Loves is one batch of the product “due to a potential risk of glass contamination”.
A notice issued on behalf of the company by the Food Standards Agency warned that 150ml jars with the batch code UK12019 may be “unsafe to eat”. A statement from the company added: “While the product has been removed from shelves as a precautionary measure, we are now extending the recall to customers who may have purchased the affected product. Other Kelly Loves Sushi Ginger batches/products are not affected by this recall. Customers are advised not to consume this product batch.”

The notice added: “We would like you to kindly return the affected product to the store you purchased it from, and you will be granted a full refund (no receipt required).
