Prince William’s sweet hobby with Prince George, Charlotte and Louis

may be the future King of the UK, but behind closed doors, his main role and responsibility is that of dad. The Prince of Wales, 42, has always spoken fondly of his three children Prince George, 11, Princess Charlotte, nine, and Prince Louis, six, making it clear along with his wife Princess Kate, 43, that his family is his priority. This was shown more than ever last year when the prince took a step back from some royal engagements to be with his family more following Kate’s cancer diagnosis.

However, as well as doing all the usual parenting activities such as school runs and playing with his children, William also revealed one hobby he enjoys to do with George, Charlotte and Louis. In William revealed that his children sit down to watch the Aston Villa matches with him at home.

The first-in-line to the throne told the news outlet that George, Charlotte and Louis don’t yet have set teams they support, however they enjoy watching football matches with him.

He said: “I’m trying not to be biased but obviously they see how passionate I am about it (Aston Villa) and they watch the matches with me.

“I’m trying to spread the love a little bit.

, and , but they have other shirts as well.”

William also revealed that him and his children will move positions when watching the game on TV if he thinks the team need luck.

The future King revealed: “If I’m home alone with the children, I probably don’t have the pre-match pint but I do have a bit of superstition about where I sit when I’m watching them.

“If we’re not doing very well, I start moving round the house quite quickly and I put the children in different positions hoping that’s going to change our luck.”

The prince has been an avid Aston Villa fan for a number of years and has , with his eldest son George accompanying him on occasion. It is not known whether Princess Kate watches the Aston Villa matches with the rest of the family at their Adelaide Cottage home in Windsor.
