A colour expert has revealed the secret meaning behind bright and bold outfit colour choices during recent engagements, believing it has a strong symbolic purpose. Princess Kate turned heads at Westminster Abbey on Commonwealth Day as the in a cool, bright red tone.

Colour analysis expert, , believes Kate, who is described as having a ‘True Summer’ season, has been wearing the colour “often associated with confidence, power and leadership”. She exclusively told : “Red is commonly used to make a strong statement in public appearances, drawing attention and helping her stand out in a crowd.

“It symbolizes strength, energy, and assertiveness, which can reinforce her authority and visibility during her engagements.”

The expert further explained: “Red also stands out more in crowds because it is a high-contrast, stimulating colour. The human eye is naturally drawn to red, as it is one of the most vivid and attention-grabbing colours.”

Francesca describes the coat as a “cool, bright, red”.
