presenter stormed off set after watching back a video of him singing God Save the King alongside his co-star . The broadcaster dramatically jumped out of his seat when he was shown the footage of his performance. “Is that what we look like on air?” he asked, clearly unimpressed. He then quipped, “Tweedle Dum and Tweedle Dee, is that us? I’m off,” before making a playful exit.
The situation unfolded during a chat about England’s new national football team manager, . Leo and Akua were discussing whether or not he would sing the national anthem at his first game in charge. Tuchel, who is a German national, is not only the first person from his country to lead the England squad but also only the second foreign coach in the team’s history. During their discussion, Akua firmly stated her opinion that the England manager should not only sing the anthem but should also be English.
“Of course. He’s representing England, of course he should sing it,” she declared.
Leo acknowledged that selecting an English manager can be challenging, commenting: “I would say the pool is quite small. Although you could have had the likes of , Newcastle manager, very talented guy. Graham Potter is very good as well.”
Akua made her views clear, saying: “I actually think you should have an English manager and encourage the talented English managers to manage the country’s team.”

Meanwhile, Tuchel has already made waves in his new role. During his first press conference after announcing his squad, he notably refused to respond in German to a question from a German journalist, despite being asked to do so.
The reporter said: “I am asking the question in English. Your goal is to bring it [football] home and I wonder what you’ve learned since January that can help you on that mission? If you could answer that in English and in German, I will waive my second question.”
With a smile, Tuchel replied: “I would like to do it [my response] in English. Out of respect for where we are and for the others [reporters].”
