Debenhams has up to 50% off perfumes before Mother’s Day – including my mum’s favourite

If you want to treat the mum in your life (be that your mum, step-mum, grandma, auntie, best friend or partner) to something special this year, the sale offers a chance to pick up a gift she can use every day for a cut of the regular price.

I was pleasantly surprised to see that some of the most significant discounts don’t just apply to cheap perfumes or brands I haven’t heard of but also include some well-known names in the scent world.

One of the biggest perfume discounts I spotted was as much as 63% off a handful of Calvin Klein scents, including (discounted from £90 to just £26). And though we are on the topic of Mother’s Day, it’s not just women’s scents included in the sale, with plenty of aftershaves included, too. is one of the masculine scents with the most considerable discount – reduced by a purse-friendly 64% to just £20.

I was particularly pleased when I stumbled on one of my mum’s favourite perfumes included in the sale (I’ve already organised her present, but if I hadn’t, this would be an instant hit).

Several of Mugler’s fragrances are also on sale, including one of my historic signature scents. I was a die-hard Alien fan from high school through university and right into my 20s.
