Candace Parker’s 3-year-old son, Airr, is a big fan of Kendrick Lamar.
On March 13, the WNBA legend shared a funny video of Airr, whom she calls “Goosey,” yelling “mustard” in the middle of the night.
Parker’s baby monitor captured the moment, and although it doesn’t show any of her kids in the clip, Airr can be heard yelling “mustard” at the top of his lungs just before 10 p.m. from his crib.
In the caption, Parker said that she didn’t know what was going on after she heard a scream until she played back her baby monitor and was surprised to hear that her son quoted a viral Lamar lyric from the rapper’s song “TV Off.”
“Raise your kids in Cali ‘They said!’ 😂😂😂😂,” she jokingly penned the caption.
“Goosey so LA 🤭❤️❤️❤️,” she added. “This was after he had been in bed for 2 hours. We heard a scream, ran it back on the Nanit and found this gem!”
Parker later showed how much her son loves Lamar when she shared another video of him yelling “mustard” on her Instagram story. But this time, he yelled the popular lyric while eating food on his high chair.
“Yall…. It’s all day 🤦🏾♀️ 😂😂😂🗣️,” she wrote on the clip.
Parker shares Airr and her 9 month-old son, Hart, with her wife and former basketball player, Anna Petrakova.
Parker is also a mother to her 15-year-old daughter, Lailaa, whom she shares with her ex-husband and former NBA player, Shelden Williams.
In February, Parker celebrated Airr’s 3rd birthday by sharing a few sweet videos of him playing basketball at home.
“A whole lotta BUCKETS and you are just THREE! NIL🤔🤔🤔🤔😂 Happy Birthday Airr Larry Petrakov Parker you are special!” she wrote on Instagram. “I love you so much Goosey. Gave you two hooper names cuz I knew you were different! Promoted to big bro, potty trained, AND you love to read!”
