shared a health update just months after the former host underwent urgent live-saving surgery on his heart in October. The presenter, 64, shared a doctor had warned him at the time he was “maybe” days away from dying. Prior to his health woes, the columnist admitted he was preoccupied with his own mortality.
“I don’t have long,” he told The Guardian last year. “I’ve probably only got what, 70,000 hours left, maybe?” He made the candid admission while busy at work on his Diddly Squat Farm which he shares with his long-term partner Lisa Hogan. The former Grand Tour host was also quizzed on whether he planned to marry for a third time but said no.

Asked if he’d been hurt by anything in his life, he replied, “Oh God, countless things. But you’ve got two choices: wallow or stiffen your upper lip and get on with it.
“I come from a generation where we stiffen the upper lip and get on with it.”
Jeremy has been married twice, first to Alexandra Hall back in 1989.
However, their union was short-lived and they parted ways after less than two years together with their divorce coming the following year in 1990.

Jeremy went on to marry second wife Frances “Francie” Cain in 1993, who was also his manager.
They had three children together during their marriage but later divorced in 2014.
Jeremy began dating Lisa in 2017, but doesn’t think a marriage is on the cards for the couple and recently told RTÉ Radio 1 that it wasn’t “important” for them.
The Dublin star said: “At this stage in your life, I think, it’s not an important thing as much as it would have been a couple of decades ago.”
