Loose Women’s Kaye Adams has candidly confessed that a recent on-air blunder during the show would have devastated her in the past, saying “it would have killed me.” Chatting with co-star Frankie Bridge on the podcast, opened up about how she has learned to handle mistakes more gracefully over time: “Today on the show, I made a mistake, and 20 years ago, that would have killed me, it would have absolutely killed me. I’d have gone home and it would’ve gone round my head.”
Kaye shared her evolved perspective on dealing with errors, stating: “Today I think, okay you made a mistake, that’s the way things go, you didn’t do it intentionally, you tried to fix it, we go on.” She also reflected on the benefits of growing older, noting: “So that sort of punching boxing match that goes on inside your head has calmed down and that is a wonderful thing about age.”

While Kaye did not specify the error during the podcast, she had to apologise last week after mistakenly calling one of triple killer Kyle Clifford’s victims “Louise Clifford” instead of “Louise Hunt”.
Addressing the error, Kaye expressed her regret: “Now, somebody has just alerted me to the fact that I unfortunately made a slip of the tongue with Louise Hunt’s surname, and I do apologise for that very, very sincerely,” she stated.
“Human error on my part, and our thoughts, as I say, are with Louise, Hannah and Carol Hunt, and of course, survived by John and Amy.”
Kaye’s remarks in the podcast follow her surprising announcement to Loose Women viewers on Monday (March 10), where she revealed: “We are off for the rest of the week sadly but we will be back next Wednesday but for now a very very happy 60th to the wonderful Coleen Nolan.”
Don’t miss…
The popular show will be taking a short hiatus as ITV is set to air racing from the Cheltenham Festival, which kicked off yesterday (March 11).
Monday’s episode also featured a touching moment when all three of Coleen Nolan’s children, Jake, Shane and Ciara, were present in the audience to celebrate their mother’s 60th birthday. The emotional scene brought Coleen to tears.
While Kaye is best known for her regular appearances on the Loose Women panel, she has made a name for herself in the broadcasting industry through her hosting role on Radio Scotland from 9-12am on weekday mornings and her frequent appearances as a panellist on Channel 5’s The Wright Stuff from 2007 until 2012.
