Vanna White had some help from someone very close to her when she got inked.
The “Wheel of Fortune” co-host posted a video March 10 on Instagram, in which her daughter, Gigi, gives her her first tattoo.
“I finally got my first tattoo, given to me by my talented daughter @gigisantopietro!! I will think of her everytime I look at it,” she captioned the video.
“She’s not making me do this. It’s my choice to do this,” White says in the clip outside the tattoo shop after her daughter, who is a tattoo artist, greets her.
The video then shifts to the pair inside the studio, where White explains she wants to get a “little heart” on the inside of her left wrist so she can “look at it every day, because she did it,” referring to Gigi.
White, who shares Gigi, 27, and son Nikko, 30, with ex-husband George Santo Pietro, talks about the size, shape and color of the tattoo with Gigi before electing to go with a small pink heart with a bit of salmon coloring.
Then, they get to work on the ink.
“Are you nervous?” Gigi asks as they begin the procedure.
“Yes,” White responds.
“I can feel you shaking,” Gigi says.
“I don’t know if I can watch. I shouldn’t watch, right?” White asks.
“I would prefer if you didn’t,” her daughter says.
White, who says she wanted to get a tattoo “for a long time,” built up her nerves for nothing because there was no pain.
“I don’t feel anything,” she says as her daughter inks her up, noting the pain felt like “nothing.”
“It looks perfect,” White says after the tattoo is completed.
“Just like you,” her daughter replies.
“It’s just what I wanted,” White says as the pair admire the tattoo, and she kisses and hugs Gigi.
White’s “Wheel of Fortune” co-host, Ryan Seacrest, liked the job Gigi did.
“Love it. Now this is making me want one…” he wrote in the comments.
Other fans also applauded the tattoo and the bond White and Gigi share.
“This is so sweet. I love how they share the same bright smile. What a beautiful thing for both of them!” someone commented.
“GIGI IS THE BEST !!!!! You have an amazing talented daughter,” gushed another fan.
