A Labour councillor and senior aide to Wes Streeting flashed at a 13-year-old girl then followed her. Sam Gould, 33, pleaded guilty to two counts of indecent exposure earlier this week.
The girl’s mother said her daughter was walking to meet friends on Saturday when she saw a man in his car performing a sex act with his trousers down. She said the 13-year-old ran away but he followed her into a cul-de-sac. The mother added that another motorist helped her after seeing her banging on front doors in Romford, East London.
She told “She didn’t go to school yesterday and she doesn’t want to leave the house.
“The fact he’s been released on bail has caused her a lot more anxiety – she’s scared she might bump into him.”

She added: “If that member of the public hadn’t stepped in, I dread to think what might have happened.”
Gould, who has been suspended from the Labour Party, appeared at Barkingside Magistrates’ Court on Monday and has been released on bail. He is due to be sentenced next month.
The Health Secretary said: “I am shocked and horrified by this news and my heart goes out to the victims of these totally abhorrent acts.
“No one should have to endure this behaviour and I am grateful to the police for taking swift action.
“A disciplinary process has been under way since I was made aware of his arrest at the weekend and, following his guilty plea, I am calling for him to resign as a Redbridge councillor immediately.
“He has abused my trust, the trust of my team and the trust of my constituents and must now accept the consequences of his actions.”
A Labour spokesman said: “These allegations are extremely serious and upsetting.
“As soon as they were brought to our attention, Mr Gould was immediately suspended both from his role in the constituency office and from the party, pending a police investigation.
“We will not be providing any further comment during legal proceedings.”
