The Woods family is well-acquainted with sporting triumphs, and it appears winning genes have been inherited by his children – particularly his daughter who has achieved her own success. Tiger, a 15-time major champion, disclosed that Sam Alexis is following in his footsteps by attending his alma mater, Stanford University, after an outstanding high school football career.

Woods was highly sought after by college golf powerhouses, with the reigning NCAA champions managing to secure a deal to make Woods a Cardinal. In his inaugural college event, Woods clinched a victory which marked the start of a dominant year that saw him become an NCAA First Team All-American and be named Stanford’s Male Freshman of the Year – an accolade that spans all sports.

In a 2018 interview with Golf.com, Tiger discussed his children’s passion for soccer, stating: “They’re keen into soccer. If they want to play golf, that’s great. If they don’t, that’s fine, too. As long as they have a good time playing sports.

“I find that a lot of fun now, to be able to physically get out and pass the ball around with them. I get such a big kick out of watching them compete and play. It’s so much fun to see how happy and passionate they are about soccer.”

Sam Alexis seems to be focusing on both her athletic and academic pursuits, with Tiger mentioning her interest in the sciences, specifically biology or psychology. Meanwhile, Charlie Woods is following in his father’s footsteps, having won a state championship ring just a year before Sam Alexis’ achievement.
