Maria Bartiromo’s Trump Spin Instantly Undone By Fox News Ticker

Maria Bartiromo argued one thing, but the Fox News ticker suggested another.

Fox personality Bartiromo on Tuesday was mocked for her spin on President Donald Trump’s controversial tariffs that have been directly blamed for causing a dramatic dip in the stock market.

As Bartiromo talked about Trump “looking from 30,000 feet above” and being fine with what he claims will be only a temporary “disruption” to the economy, the ticker showed share prices dropping, dropping and then dropping some more.

In less than two minutes of Bartiromo’s show, the market lost almost 100 points.

incredible — watch the stock market lose over 100 points in real time while Maria Bartiromo talks about Trump’s tariffs

Bartiromo attempted to explain away the plunging market, putting it down to “companies and investors getting used to a new day, a new sheriff in town.”

Trump is luring “huge investments” to the United States, she added, claiming the rest of the president’s economic agenda is actually deflationary.

Critics on social media, though, thought the stark contrast between Bartiromo’s comments and the ticker “could be an ‘SNL’ skit” and more.

How many excuses can one person make?

Look at that caption: trump works to revive economy. The economy was going great guns under Biden, the envy of the world. Better caption: trump works to destroy economy

“Trump is looking from 30,000 feet above” is the new “Trump is playing 4D chess”

Sounds so much better in the original North Korean. She just needs to drop the pretense and call him “Dear Leader”. Utter fucking garbage. Disgusting

A lot of you don’t remember Baghdad Bob, Saddam’s info minister, who lied in ridiculous and over-the-top fashion about the progress of the 2003 US invasion up until it was just meters from his studio
