The 2025 Six Nations concludes this weekend (Image: Getty)
A Super Saturday to look forward to. Who would’ve expected that after Ireland raced out the blocks to win their opening three Six Nations matches?
Instead, it’s France who lead the way at the top of the standings heading into week five, with Fabien Galthie’s side one of four teams in with a shot of winning the competition. England – perhaps somewhat remarkably – sit second behind France, whereas the pre-championship favourites Ireland are all the way back in third.
Scotland are the most unlikely victors as things stand, given what would have to fall into place for them to win the title. But Gregor Townsend’s side can still have a major say in where the trophy goes, considering they face leaders France on matchday five.

England’s Marcus Smith decision
England head into ‘Super Saturday’ this weekend with hopes of winning a first Six Nations title since 2020 alive.
And Steve Borthwick must decide whether to start Marcus Smith at 15 at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff.
Wales are on a 16-Test losing run but would desperately love to end that streak against the English.
Smith was left out of the starting XV against Italy last time out but impressed when called upon after just nine minutes.
And that should mean he returns from the start here.
