Bradley Walsh was taken aback by a contestant’s revelation on The Chase as four new players prepared to challenge one of the UK’s top quiz masters.
The popular ITV quiz show welcomed Spencer, Ali, Susan and Jamahl.
Susan was the first to showcase her knowledge after amassing an impressive £6,000 in the Cash Builder round. She successfully returned to the team, contributing a “great start” to the prize fund.
Jamahl was next to face Jenny “The Vixen” Ryan, but his time on the show was cut short when he was caught by The Chaser. However, it was Ali who left a lasting impression on the ITV host with her disclosure about her leisure activities.
During his customary small talk with each contestant on The Chase, Ali revealed that she is a nine-year cancer survivor. Bradley congratulated her as Ali went on to share that she has raised £73,000 for Macmillan, reports .

She detailed how she had undertaken a variety of daring fundraising challenges to overcome her fear of heights, including wing walking. Stunned by Ali’s courage, Bradley expressed disbelief, exclaiming: “You’ve not done wing walking, no you’ve not. I was never doing that.”
Admiring Ali’s efforts, he added: “That’s a great thing”, while The Vixen labelled her as “fearless.”
Following Ali’s disclosure, viewers took to social media to praise her, with one saying: “What a hero, raising funds for charity.”

Following a triumphant round against The Chaser, Ali brought back £4,000 to the team, boosting the total prize fund to £10,000. However, Spencer wasn’t as fortunate and left the show with nothing after being caught by The Vixen.
In the climactic final chase, Ali teamed up with Susan in an attempt to secure the cash prize. But their score of 15 was overtaken by The Chaser with 19 seconds to spare.
