The beautiful UK seaside town that ‘looks just like Santorini and is a walker’s paradise’

Among the most overlooked towns to visit in the UK is a quaint seaside spot that boasts unbeatable coastal views and plenty to do for visitors. Locals have praised Sewerby in East Yorkshire, but it is somewhere that many Brits in the rest of the country are yet to discover. With scenic walking trails and sweeping views of the British coastline, it is a place that is yet to be seen by avid travellers who are looking for a quiet, fresh, air-filled getaway without having to get on a flight.

In fact, Sewerby has been compared to  for its picture-perfect views, a thing of natural beauty that locals appreciate deeply. However, the small village, which has a number of attractions for visitors and locals to enjoy, is often overshadowed by the likes of nearby Bridlington, which is under two miles away. If you are looking for , then Sewerby is a place that you should definitely have on your radar when you begin to plan your next trip.

Although there are a number of stand-outs in this town, the true star of the show is the Sewerby Fields Circular Walk, a two-mile-long cliff-top walk that allows you to take in these gorgeous views. From the Sewerby coast, walkers are treated to views of Flamborough Head as well as Bridlington. 

While not many Brits are aware of what’s available to them in Seweby, there are a few who know well enough that these are , as shown by the many holiday caravans located close to the coast here.

There are also a number of other accommodation options in Bridlington, such as the Lobster Pot hotel and The Brunswick Hotel. There is a trail that connects Bridlington to Seweby, making it easier for tourists visiting the former to reach these amazing scenes. 

There is also a tourism road train that runs between Bridlington and Sewerby, making it even easier for visitors to make the most of the area. 

The coastal views aren’t the only thing to enjoy in this Yorkshire spot. There is also Sewerby Hall And Gardens, which has been praised by tourists who have visited before. This attraction features a lovely garden to walk through as well as a zoo, which will be a hit with younger visitors. You can also visit the house, which dates all the way back to 1714. 

One visitor to the area previously told : “The clifftop walk here is lovely – we’re staying in the motor home site. You can walk all the way out to Flamborough and see all the birds

“We really like this bit, but we weren’t that impressed with Bridlington, though everyone was nice. It was just a bit run down.”
