Triple murderer Kyle Clifford POLL

Monstrous killer Kyle Clifford, who brutally murdered his ex-partner, her sister, and her mother after he “got dumped”, has been handed three life terms. The cowardly triple murderer couldn’t even face the family of the three women after he refused to appear in court on Tuesday. Clifford, 26, previously pleaded guilty to murdering his former girlfriend Louise Hunt, her mother Carol Hunt, and her sister Hannah Hunt, and was later convicted of raping Louise in a “violent, sexual act of spite”.

Speaking before the sentencing at Cambridge Crown Court, racing commentator John Hunt, whose wife and two daughters were murdered by Clifford, said the “screams of hell” were waiting for the killer. Reading a victim impact statement, a visibly emotional Mr Hunt said: “Whatever sentence you’re about to receive, whatever misery lies ahead for you in the next 60 years, remain that after your days on earth are done, on your dying day there will be no release for you Kyle.

“The screams of hell, Kyle. I can hear them faintly now. They’re going to roll the red carpet out for you.”

Bravely giving a statement alongside her father, Amy Hunt, whose younger sisters and mum died at the hands of Clifford, said he was a “monster”, adding that what he did “to my baby sister is nothing short of demonic”.

She said that Clifford’s “monstrous, selfish actions” had devastated the loved ones of Carol, Hannah and Louise Hunt and that Clifford “decided your own fragile ego and pride were more important”.

Ms Hunt said: “You planned to take the lives of three women who have never done anything to hurt you and for what – you got dumped.”

Prosecutors previously said Clifford became “enraged” when Louise, 25, ended their 18-month relationship, leading him to “carefully” plan the murders on July 9, 2024.

Clifford gained access to the family home by deceiving Carol Hunt, 61, before stabbing her to death in a “brutal knife attack”.

After killing Mrs Hunt, the defendant then “lay in wait” for an hour for Louise to enter the house before restraining, raping and ultimately murdering her with a crossbow.

He then fatally shot Hannah Hunt, 28, when she returned to the property in the quiet cul-de-sac of Ashlyn Close in Bushey, Hertfordshire, after work.

Cambridge Crown Court was told Clifford had been seen by a friend of Louise viewing an Andrew Tate video the night before the killings “which showed animals who had been drugged”, which the killer found “funny”.

A court previously heard the murders were fuelled by the “violent misogyny promoted” by Tate after it emerged that Clifford searched for the controversial social media influencer’s podcast less than 24 hours before the attacks.
