Ready to dive back into the #MomTok world? Here’s everything we know about the upcoming season so far.

When does ‘The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives’ return for Season 2?

Season 2 of “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” will premiere on Hulu on Thursday, May 15, 2025.

What will Season 2 of ‘The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives’ be about?

According to Hulu, Season 2 of the reality series will shake things up with the introduction of another star. A woman named Miranda is mentioned in the trailer as “the girl that was swinging with Taylor.”

Likely, the Miranda in question is Miranda McWhorter, whose ex-husband Chase McWhorter confirmed they were part of a “soft swinging” group in the #MomTok community while speaking to Us Weekly.

“When an original swinger from their infamous sex scandal makes a surprise return, friendships threaten to unravel as secrets, lies, and allegations explode. In a battle for the soul of #MomTok, will betrayal shatter the sisterhood, or will the truth set them free?” a description reads.

Hulu previously announced that Season 2 would include 20 episodes.

It’s unclear when filming took place, but three members of the #MomTok group — Jen Affleck, Mikayla Matthews and Mayci Neeley — are currently expecting children, so their pregnancies may play a role in Season 2.

Who is in the cast of ‘The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives’?

Hulu lists Taylor Frankie Paul, Demi Engemann, Jennifer Affleck, Jessi Ngatikaura, Layla Taylor, Mayci Neeley, Mikayla Mathews and Whitney Leavitt — the same cast as last season — as the Season 2 stars.

No word on whether McWhorter will officially join the cast, though she’s mentioned in the trailer.

Hulu just dropped a trailer for Season 2

The Season 2 trailer is only 30 seconds long, but it’s full of action. The short clip begins with Mayci Neeley saying, “Where is everyone at in #MomTok?”

Whitney Leavitt then gives an update on the status of her friend group, saying, “They’re holding grudges because, I don’t even know why.”

Taylor Frankie Paul appears next, along with her partner Dakota Mortensen. He says, “I don’t want to fight with you.”

“Then don’t,” she replies.

Jen Affleck, whose marriage was on the rocks at the end of Season 1, can then be seen opening the door to find her husband Zac Affleck standing there with flowers. She smirks slightly while looking at him. The Afflecks are expecting their third child.

While the #MomTok group is gathered together for an outing, one of the women says, “Is that Miranda?” Another replies, “Wait, that’s the girl that was swinging with Taylor.”

The short clip also teases a pregnancy announcement, a fight that prompts a call to the police and plenty of other drama.

“Honestly, the show must go on,” Demi Engemann declares at the end of the trailer.

What happened at the end of Season 1?

Season 1 of “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” left viewers with several cliffhangers. For starters, Jen Affleck was facing marriage challenges and a potential move to New York. Paul and Mortensen’s relationship was also a bit uneasy.
