In shops, and centres across the UK, plant lovers can buy beautiful with an abundance of blooms. If, however, you have a from the year prior (or even before that), then you may want to encourage your to produce white flowers again.
Typically, peace lilies begin to flower in spring, but the most ideal living environment has to be created first. According to the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS), there is one place in the home where the peace lily thrives. “Keep peace lilies in bright, indirect light,” the UK’s leading charity says, adding that the plant needs to be “near a window”.

Be cautious, however, as the peace lily will burn if placed in direct summer sun.
Instead, find a bright spot by a window that is blessed with indirect light “to ensure strong growth and flowering”.
Room temperature also affects whether a peace lily flowers; the RHS confirmed that the peace lily is okay in room temperatures between 12C and 24C.
“But keep plants away from hot radiators and cold draughts,” the charity cautioned.

When it comes to watering, the growing season begins in April, so only water the peace lily if the plant starts drooping down.

“The fluoride in tap water can damage the foliage,” the RHS warned, which can make the plant extremely unhappy.
If the compost dries rather quickly between watering sessions, it could be a sign that the plant needs a bigger pot.
Spring is the ideal time to repot a peace lily plant, but make sure to use “peat-free multi-purpose compost and mix in perlite to improve drainage”.
When it comes to creating the best soil conditions for a peace lily, the perfect ratio is three parts of peat-free multi-purpose compost to one part of perlite.
Make sure the new pot is only marginally larger than the current pot housing the plant and only change the pot if the roots are “densely packed” together in its current container.
