Loose Women’s Coleen Nolan admits ‘I’m scared’ after tearful family reunion

Loose Women’s Coleen Nolan was moved to tears shortly after the show began on Monday, March 10 as her colleagues orchestrated a touching surprise ahead of her 60th birthday.

Her co-stars Kaye Adams, Jane Moore, and Judi Love secretly brought her family, including her three children, into the studio, catching Coleen off guard.

The reunion proved too much for Coleen, who confessed it was ‘too emotional’ as she struggled to hold back tears. She also disclosed that she had been confined to her dressing room all morning, describing it as the “worst day of (her) life”.

Upon entering the studio blindfolded, Coleen was greeted by her sons Jake Roche, Shane Nolan, and daughter Ciara Fensome. Overwhelmed with joy at having all her children together in the studio for the first time, she tearfully exclaimed, “Oh my God! Is this why I’ve been kept prisoner all day?”

She went on to say, “So far, I’ve had the worst day of my life. They literally locked me in the dressing room. This was a genuine surprise. Gosh it’s too emotional.”

Coleen admitted that she’s worried about becoming invisible in the industry, with people favouring younger talent, but she’s determined to prove them wrong: “And people won’t want to work with you because they want someone younger and that scares me a little bit but I’m determined to push forward to say, ‘No you’re wrong and I’m going to prove you wrong.'”.
