The gripping drama, Fear, recently premiered on Prime Video and has been thrilling viewers with its intense storyline. The three-part series follows a couple’s struggle against their menacing neighbour who falsely accuses them of child abuse.
The mini-series stars Martin Compston from and Anjli Mohindra from Vigil as the beleaguered couple, with additional performances from Solly McLeod, James Cosmo and Daniel Portman. Fans are eager to learn more about actress Mohindra, 35, and her life off-camera. Best known for her role as Rani Chandra in the Doctor Who spin-off, The Sarah Jane Adventures, Mohindra is in a relationship with fellow actor Sacha Dhawan, known for his roles in Doctor Who and The Great, reports the .
The couple tends to keep their romance out of the spotlight, but Mohindra has shared glimpses of their relationship on , including photos from their trip to Italy last October and their visit to America in May last year. She also praised Dhawan for his portrayal of the cunning villain, The Master, in Doctor Who back in 2020.

Beyond her relationship, Mohindra has been open about her mental health challenges, including anxiety and depression. In 2020, she embarked on a fundraising effort for the mental health charity Mind, running daily throughout January.
She shared her motivation on social media: “Running Everyday January for @MindCharity to raise awareness, funds and most importantly to help remove the stigma of suffering from mental health conditions.”

Speaking to the iPaper in 2022, Mohindra advocated for therapy, lamenting the lack of resources and long waitlists for those seeking help. The publication noted that her anxiety often surfaces in social situations and when making decisions, something she became more conscious of as she grew older.
“I thought it was a need for stimulation, but when I moved to London – which is wonderfully busy and noisy – it didn’t go away,” she confessed. The celebrity now incorporates mindfulness into her routine, along with journaling and engaging in conversations with others.
