Lewis Hamilton has had a remarkable career that many drivers could only ever dream of, and his property portfolio reflects the fruits of his labour. With seven F1 world titles to his name, the 40-year-old has a reported net worth of around £232million, according to estimations.

And aside from flashy cars, lavish clothes and incredible experiences, it appears as though has invested a substantial chunk of his F1 earnings into stunning worldwide. But what homes does Hamilton own, how much did he splash on them, and where are they located? The new star primarily resides in a stunning £11.8m mansion in Monaco near the likes of and . But he also has homes in the UK, USA, Switzerland and Italy.

While little is known about his home in the tax haven of Monaco, it is thought that he resides mainly in the pricey Fontvielle district of Monte Carlo. For context, a top-floor apartment in the area is believed to cost around £30m in the stunning locale.

Meanwhile, his house in Kensington, previously owned by Burberry designer Christopher Bailey, is valued at around £18.2m, boasting an entertainment space opening out into a 200ft garden and an impressive summer house. It also has four reception rooms and two massive bathrooms, although it is unknown how much time Hamilton spends in the UK capital.

It is also reported that Hamilton has owned a number of homes stateside, including two in New York City. In 2019, the star spent £32m on a Manhattan penthouse in a condo project part-owned by NFL superstar – which spans 6,457 square feet, boasts immaculate views of the Hudson River, and is fitted with a swimming pool, a home gym and a squash court.

He also listed his three-floor 8,900 sq ft penthouse in Tribeca at around the same time, which he bought for £34m in 2017. With five bedrooms and six bathrooms, he sold the home in 2021 for a whopping £38.3m.

It’s not just the Big Apple that Hamilton has taken a bite out of either. The driver also owns a picture-perfect ranch surrounded by mountains and lakes in Coloarado – a place he has previously dubbed “home”.

Speaking to the about the abode, Hamilton has previously said: “I’ve never really been home [before]. In my winter, I go to the mountains [in Colorado], which I really see as my main home, because it’s a house and it’s full of love and memories from people, the family that come every winter.

“Where I live in Monaco, it’s been somewhere I go back to and I’d call home but it lacks those memories. I’d be there for short periods of time. So it’s not been the easiest.”

Meanwhile, in Switzerland, Hamilton owns a beautiful property which overlooks Lake Geneva. Although little is known about the three-bedroom apartment nestled in the Alpine Foothills, it is thought that he bought it back in 2007.

The most-recent purchase of Hamilton’s comes in the form of a vast luxury apartment in the Porta Nuova district of Milan – where a home typically sets buyers back a modest £1.2m. It is said that the star evaluated several options in Modena and Bologna before opting for Milan.

Hamilton’s focus is firmly on an eighth F1 Championship as the 2025 season gets underway in Melbourne this weekend. After spending 11 years with , the Briton has made the move to alongside Leclerc for 2025, with hopes of stopping four-time consecutive champion Verstappen in his tracks.

The 27-year-old sentinel has claimed every championship since 2021, finishing 2024 with a whopping 437 points through nine wins and 14 podiums, and will be hoping for more of the same when he kicks off his season at the .

Hamilton could only muster a seventh-place finish with alongside last term, and will hope that a change of scenery will provide him with what he needs to reign supreme in the sport once more.
