THUMP A TRUMP: Canadian Senator Challenges Don Jr. To Boxing Match

Donald Trump Jr. may not be gearing up for a rumored 2028 presidential run, but he could soon have a fight on his hands ― literally.

Canadian Senator Patrick Brazeau has challenged Donald Trump’s eldest son to a boxing match, aiming to raise money for charity while protesting the president’s repeated jabs at Canada including his on-off-on-off tariffs — which Brazeau has slammed as “bogus” and really part of Trump’s ploy to seize Canada along with its natural resources.

The Quebec lawmaker suggested the fight with the Trump scion could settle differences between the U.S. and Canada without real conflict.

“Our countries don’t need to be at war, but we can fight to raise money,” he wrote on the Elon Musk-owned X, formerly Twitter.

“I’m in if you are,” he added.

Dear @DonaldJTrumpJr, I once had a boxing match with @JustinTrudeau and lost.

I know, I still can’t believe it myself. But I no longer smoke and have been sober for almost 5 years.

Brazeau went toe-to-toe with outgoing Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau in the 2012 so-called “Thrilla on the Hill” charity match.

Trudeau, then a member of parliament, won.

But Brazeau suggested he is in better shape now.

“I no longer smoke and have been sober for almost five years,” he wrote.

Brazeau is “100 per cent serious” about the fight, he told CBC, revealing that he’d initially planned to challenge Vice President JD Vance to a bout — but then settled on Trump’s son instead.

“Just looking at everything that has transpired in the last two months, I just was wondering … what could I do?” he told the outlet. “Let’s duke it out and let’s see how much courage the Trumps and the president’s son truly have.”

“If I do step in the ring, I can guarantee that it will not be the same result as it was with my boxing match with Justin Trudeau. I’ll just leave it at that,” he added.

So far, Trump Jr. has not responded to the challenge.
