David Hasselhoff’s ex-wife, actress Pamela Bach-Hasselhoff, has died aged 62. She was found dead in her home in Los Angeles on Wednesday when family went to check on her having not heard from her.

Cops were called to the scene at 10pm on Wednesday night (March 5) and it was later reported she had died from an apparent suicide and didn’t leave a note, according to reports.

“Our family is deeply saddened by the recent passing of Pamela Hasselhoff,” celebrity news website TMZ reported David as saying.

“We are grateful for the outpouring of love and support during this difficult time but we kindly request privacy as we grieve and navigate through this challenging time.”

Pamela and David were married for 17 years and have two daughters together Hayley, 32, and Taylor, 34. They first met on the set of his hit 80s TV show Knight Rider in 1985 when Pamela was guesting in an episode.

She also had roles in popular shows such as The Fall Guy, Cheers and Superboy. On the big screen she appeared in movies including Francis Ford Coppola’s 1983 cult classic Rumble Fish and 1998s Route 66.
