Kate Hudson is an open book when it comes to her sex life.
The “How to Lose a Guy In 10 Days” star spoke to Bustle about how getting older has affected her outlook on sex in a positive way.
“The best part about sex in your 40s, honestly, is the freedom,” the actor shared. “Sex isn’t supposed to be pretty, and I think that when you get older you kind of have more fun with that.”
She also confessed that she still has fun flirting ― something her fiancé, producer Danny Fujikawa, is completely at peace with.
“I’m the biggest flirt on the planet. So I think anybody who’s ever been with me is very aware that I flirt with everybody — girls, boys,” Hudson shared.
“Thank God Danny is my partner. He can handle this,” the actor said, adding that she “met the right guy.”
Hudson and Fujikawa began dating in 2016. The two share a daughter named Rani, who is 6.

The actor was previously married to Black Crowes frontman Chris Robinson, with whom she shares son Ryder. Hudson and her former fiancé, Muse singer Matt Bellamy, also have a son named Bingham together.
Hudson said during an appearance on “Call Her Daddy” last year that she met Fujikawa after three years of being “so happy single.”
“His values are very sturdy and he’s such a lovely person,” Hudson said of Fujikawa. “I would have never allowed that in if I didn’t take those three years being so happy in my life alone.”
Prior to meeting him, she’d worked with a therapist to take “a full year off” from dating men.
“I was at that place where I was, like, I don’t wanna keep repeating any patterns anymore. I have a great therapist who was, like, ‘I can help you, but you have to do it,’” Hudson told host Alex Cooper at the time.
