America’s outlets did not go easy on the duchess either, with bible Variety dubbing it a “Montecito ego trip not worth taking” and the Reporter saying the show “lacks a key ingredient”.

Now another PR expert has further criticised Meghan for showing “out-of-touch elite desperation”.

Eric Schiffer, chair of Reputation Management Consultants, told : “The show is not a to rebuild her reputation; in fact, it reinforces her as the Duchess of Flops and Rating Disasters.

“I don’t think this builds her back or expands her audience in a meaningful way at all. To me, this is not the project for her to start a masterclass in cringe cooking.

“For her to think she’s going to somehow recast herself as a modern-day Martha Stewart screams ‘out of touch elite desperation.'”

The PR expert added that Meghan should revert back to promoting charitable work because, as a couple, she and were “the best when they focused on organic, authentic acts to support causes that were meaningful to the next generation of the planet”.

He stated: “Where they have gone wrong is when they tried to merchandise and overcommit to contracts where they’re forced to put out content which is subpar.”

The Duchess of Sussex has not responded to any of the scathing reviews about her show but last night gushed about her show being in the top 10 on the streaming giant.
