has spoken to half a dozen industry insiders and all them confirmed that Nolan is “the top choice and the perfect filmmaker to reinvigorate the franchise for Amazon MGM.” The acclaimed filmmaker with guaranteed blockbuster box office success with his own original screenplays is currently shooting The Odyssey. The mythic epic stars Matt Damon as Odysseus and is set for release in summer 2026. I suspect that they will and I also suspect that there is strong mutual desire to make it happen.”
