The line-up for has been officially announced. Later this year, a crowd of 210,000 music enthusiasts will flock to Worthy Farm in Somerset for five days, immersing themselves in the music and all that the festival site has to offer. This year, it has been confirmed that Glastonbury will take place from June 25 to June 29.

Tickets for this year’s Glastonbury were snapped up in just 35 minutes, despite the line-up being unknown at the time. The performers have now been revealed. The 1975, Neil Young and Olivia Rodrigo are set to headline this year’s festival.

This announcement follows weeks of speculation about the potential line-up. In early March, it was suggested that organisers had secured Olivia Rodrigo and the 1975 in an effort to “appeal to the youngsters”.

Nile Rodgers hinted in November that he would perform at this year’s festival, although his involvement wasn’t confirmed by organisers at the time.

Other artists rumoured for Glastonbury included Rihanna, Basement Jaxx, Chappel Roan and Stevie Wonder.

Organisers confirmed in January that Neil would take the top spot on the Pyramid Stage. Initially, he expressed his disinterest in the festival, labelling it a “corporate turn-off”.

However, shortly after, Neil reversed his decision, citing “an error in the information received,” with organisers simultaneously verifying his participation.

This marks Neil’s triumphant return to Worthy Farm more than two decades after he last headlined the Pyramid Stage in 2002. Last year, sharing the exciting update with his followers, he announced: “I’m absolutely thrilled to announce that I’ll be playing @glastofest 2025! After all these years, I’m proud and ready and more than able to take the stage again to pleasure and titillate my friends at Glastonbury in June. I’ll see you there!”.

Fans rushed to social media to rage at the line-up as one said: “Best thing about this is the design of it,” as another agreed: “That’s very poor.”

A third chimed in: “That’s lacking quality,” as a fourth agreed: “This is a weak line up.” However, one said: “It’s gooooood! Plenty to keep me happy there.”
