Viewers have dismissed the show as ‘nonsense’ after sampling the debut episode. Others have suggested that ‘s spouse is attempting to emulate a ‘housewife’ persona, seemingly trying to rival ‘Martha Stewart’ in presenting herself as a domestic goddess, reports . During a fiery segment on , veteran broadcaster Carole Malone launched a scathing critique of ‘s authenticity regarding her new show. According to Malone, people “need to have a go at her”, arguing that Meghan lacks genuine domestic know-how.
“People do need to have a go at Meghan. I’m not interested in it – she’s not a housewife, she’s not Martha Stewart. Martha is obsessed with and always has been obsessed with housekeeping, gardening, cooking – Meghan hasn’t,” Malone declared.
Malone didnt hold back in questioning Meghans motives, suggesting that the Duchess’s activities are more about profit than passion. She compared her unfavorably with Kate Middleton, saying, “I just think this is all nonsense. But I love the fact that when Kate went to Wales on a visit, she gave her for plum jam away for free, while Meghan’s trying to make a shed load of money out of hers. I would like to think Kate did that on purpose, just to have a go at Meghan.”

Adding to the debate, Sir Jake Berry, a former Conservative MP, also weighed in on Meghan’s series during his appearance on GB News. He criticised the show for creating an ‘unreal world’ and setting impossible parenting standards.
Berry was critical of a particular scene mentioning, “There was a behind the scenes shot where Meghan saying, this is what it’s like to be a normal mum, and she’d sort of lined up freshly cut fruit on a plate in a rainbow with all the same coloured fruits.
“Personally, as a father of three, our meal times with the Berry tribe look nothing like that. It’s all about getting the food on the plate and in front of them; no fuss, no frills. There’s no background music playing, nor are we all dressed in matching outfits it’s just not how real life works.”
