Céline Dion treated golf fans to an impromptu rendition of one of her most iconic songs this week as none other than Tiger Woods looked on.
ESPN’s Marty Smith caught up with the five-time Grammy winner on Tuesday at the SoFi Center in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, where she attended the Tomorrow’s Golf League match between the Atlanta Drive GC and the Jupiter Links GC.
When Smith asked Dion which of her songs “best represents” her golf game, the pop diva launched into a few bars of “My Heart Will Go On” from the 1997 blockbuster, “Titanic.”

Diontweaked some of the lyrics to better fit the circumstances, and encouraged Smith to join her in a singalong.
“You’re not bad,” she told the reporter, before the cameras panned to Woods, who appeared to be beaming after witnessing the exchange.
Moments later, ESPN’s Matt Barrie chimed in with his thoughts on an age-old question regarding Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet’s “Titanic” characters.
“By the way, while we’re on this theme, can I get something off my chest? Rose was so selfish to push Jack off the floating door,” he quipped. “I’ve never gotten over that.”
Dion has maintained a low profile since 2022, when she revealed she’d been diagnosed with stiff-person syndrome, a rare neurological condition that has affected her livelihood and ability to sing live.

She returned to the spotlight at the 2024 Grammy Awards, where she presented Taylor Swift with the Album of the Year award. She delivered her first live performance since the announcement of her SPS diagnosis at the Paris Olympics opening ceremony in July of last year, crooning a goosebump-inducing rendition of Édith Piaf’s “L’hymne à l’amour” from atop the Eiffel Tower.
In recent interviews, Dion has said she’s determined to resume her music career in full, though she did not specify a time frame in which that may be possible.
“The way I see it, I have two choices,” she told Vogue France last year. “Either I train like an athlete and work super hard, or I switch off and it’s over, I stay at home, listen to my songs, stand in front of my mirror and sing to myself. I’ve chosen to work with all my body and soul, from head to toe, with a medical team. I want to be the best I can be.”
