BBC Radio 1 host and Gladiators star set to appear in TV reboot in huge announcement

The full line-up has been ‘revealed’ as a Radio 1 star and Gladiators favourite join Jake Wood and Rob Rinder for the huge reboot. Set to air later this year, the show is set to feature a series of famous faces taking part in the TV special as part of the business reality show’s 20th anniversary.

The last season of the celebrity show featured actor Omid Djalili, comedian Russell Kane and interior designer Kelly Hoppen. Now it’s making a comeback after six years off the airwaves. On Wednesday (March 5), the Sun has revealed some of the star-studded line-up set to appear in the new series for the milestone special.

Let’s see which star’s will appear alongside business mogul Lord Alan Sugar and his aids Karren Brady and Tim Campbell for the new show later this year.

Rob Rinder

Rob Rinder is a trained criminal barrister and began is television career with his ITV series Judge Rinder. 

He also took part in Strictly Come Dancing in 2016, and has appeared on Celebrity Gogglebox and Good Morning Britian in recent years.

Jake Wood

Soap hunk Jake Wood is best known for playing EastEnders womaniser Max Branning from 2006 to 2021. 

He now also juggles acting with a career as an artist. Most recently, the TV favourite appeared in Celebrity Mastermind.

Eddie Kadi

Eddie Kadi is a comedian, presenter and actor. The broadcaster made history as the first British black comedian to headline the O2 Arena in London. 

He’s also presented the BBC’s Official UK Afrobeats Chart Show and has hosted the Mobo Awards as well as fronting documentaries and appearing in TV shows including Tonight with Target, Don’t Hate the Playaz and Blankety Blank. 

Eddie also joined the 2023 line-up of Strictly Come Dancing where he was partnered up with professional ballroom dancer Karen Hauer.

JB Gill

JB Gill is a singer, dancer and TV presenter best know for being one fourth of the British boyband JLS.

The group formed in 2006, but shot to fame in 2008 when they auditioned for The X Factor. They made it all the way to the final in the ITV competition, with Louis Walsh as their judge, but they narrowly lost out to series winner Alexandra Burke.

JB also appeared on Strictly Come Dancing back in 2024 where he was partnered up with Amy Dowden and Lauren Oakley, with the trio making it all the way to the grand final.

Thomas Skinner

Business entrepreneur Tom Skinner took part on the BBC business show back in 2019, and is now set to make a major comeback. Thomas became an instant fan favourite and made it all the way to week nine.
