Neil Young and the chrome hearts: love earth tour

When and where: Sept. 8 at Deer Lake Park

Canadian classic rock legend Neil Young and the chrome hearts have announced a second B.C. show on the love earth world tour. Young had previously announced a Sept. 6 concert at Deer Lake Park in Burnaby. The singer has also added a second Toronto show on Aug. 19 at the Budweiser Stage.

Fans of the ’60s star can enjoy a set list from across his long career backed by his crack new band including veteran keyboardist and session ace Spooner Oldham on Farfisa organ, guitarist and vocalist Micah Nelson, bassist Corey McCormick and drummer Anthony LoGerfo. Young introduced the new tour with his latest single: big change.

Babbu: The One Maan Show

Babbu Maan, Indian singer, music director, actor and film producer, is one of the biggest artists in Punjabi music who has starred in numerous films and contributed to hit Bollywood film soundtracks. His two decades-long career includes over a dozen studio albums and compilations, and has sold out tours across the globe.

The tour opens in Vancouver before heading to:

May 10: Expo Centre Arena, Edmonton.

May 11: Winsport Event Arena, Calgary.

May 16: Burton Cummings Theatre, Winnipeg

May 17: Scotiabank Arena, Toronto.
