New footage of Christian Horner scandal released with Red Bull boss furious

, the Racing boss, has lashed out at his Formula 1 rivals and labelled chief a “p***k” as ‘s popular docu-drama, , returns for its seventh season. The show, set to be released on Friday, offers fans an insider’s view of the biggest stories from the 2024 campaign.

One of the most significant moments of the show came when Horner found himself in the spotlight after being accused of inappropriate behaviour by a female colleague, a claim he consistently denied and was subsequently cleared of following an independent investigation. This controversy, which threatened Horner’s position with the team, is expected to feature prominently in the new series.

In a teaser for the show, Horner is seen saying: “The higher you rise, the sharper the knives. I’ve reached the top of my game and I never thought in a million years I’d have a challenge like this in my career. It’s a crucial time of year, in a job that I do, you’re the front face of the organisation. You can either hide away or you can get out there and face it.”

In a telling glimpse behind the Formula One spectacle, Horner’s wife, the iconic former Spice Girl Geri Halliwell, is seen in another scene alongside her husband addressing the uproar. She was spotted at several early 2024 races supporting Horner, presenting a solid marital front amidst whispers of friction caused by the scandal.

Questions over Horner’s role intensified internally, with figures like Jos Verstappen – father to driver – expressing doubts about his leadership. Delving into the motives of those accusing him and recalling malicious leaks that were never corroborated, Horner reveals on film: “It was obvious that the end goal was for me to leave .”

Externally, calls for clarity surged too, with ‘ pushing for transparency in the investigation. Horner clashed frequently last season with ‘s boss Brown, one of ’s main critics, casting an adverse light on the construction champions. Horner uncovers his most biting backlash against Brown via a mic: “You find out who your friends are, don’t you? Zak’s a p***k – I’ll get through it.”

The controversy surrounding did little to derail their on-track performances in the initial stages of the season. Verstappen clinched victory in seven out of the first 10 races, and after dominating the Bahrain Grand Prix with teammate for a one-two finish, team principal Horner declared that triumph was “the best way to f**k them all”.
