Subway has rolled out a major menu change in more than 170 UK stores but only for a limited time. The is branching out from its standard offering of to offer jacket potatoes for the first time.
The “Spudway” menu option allows customers in select to order a hot, fluffy jacket potato loaded with a variety of toppings. These include cheese and beans and tuna mayonnaise, alongside Subway fan-favourites like chicken tikka, rotisserie style chicken and bacon, and taco beef, with minced beef in Mexican taco spices with onions, red peppers, sweetcorn and black beans.
But Subway says all spuds are fully customisable with the variety of ingredients available in restaurants, so customers can pick and choose what they want as a topping, such as a Meatball Marinara jacket potato.
All the spuds are made fresh in-stores daily and can be enjoyed on their own or as part of a meal deal, which includes a spud and a drink, plus crisps or a cookie.
The Spudway menu is being trialled in more than 170 Subway restaurants across the UK for a limited time from now until April 15, or while stocks last, with a potential nationwide rollout later this year.
