Millie Bobby Brown Wasted No Time Correcting Paparazzo Who Referred To Her Husband, Jake Bongiovi, As Her ‘Boyfriend’ On A Red Carpet

Millie Bobby Brown was 20 when she and Jake Bongiovi, then 22, got married.

The pair tied the knot in a small ceremony last May, before later celebrating in Italy with their family and friends. Brown recently said of her decision to get married at a young age: “We were pretty united going into it. … It’s such an important decision, and we wanted to make sure we were making the right one. I knew I was. It always felt right with him.”

Brown and Bongiovi have made loads of public appearances together over the past few years — including at the premiere of her new Netflix film, “The Electric State,” this week.

The pair looked adorable as they posed for photos on the red carpet. However, in a video shared by the Hollywood Reporter, Brown can be seen hastily correcting a photographer who refers to Bongiovi as her “boyfriend.”

In the clip, Brown can be seen posing for photos solo at first. She then gestures for Bongiovi, who is standing to the side, to join her, prompting a paparazzo off-camera to shout at her to “get” her “boyfriend.”

Brown immediately retorts, “He’s not my boyfriend,” before turning back to Bongiovi, who joins her in front of the cameras.

The photographer can be heard apologizing repeatedly, to which Brown smiles and replies, “It’s OK.”

Moments later, a paparazzo can be heard repeatedly yelling at Bongiovi to “give her a kiss.” Brown laughs and seemingly mutters something to Bongiovi as the pair continue to pose for their photos. You can watch the video for yourself here.

Reacting to the clip online, one X user wrote, “The girls are clearing the paparazzi clean and I loveeeee it.” Someone else said, “Because that’s her HUSBAND!!! Perioddd.”
