sent a bold statement by stepping out wearing the Tudor Crown brooch as she attended for a star-studded reception. This choice, one expert believes, showed the “bond and shared royal heritage” between the Queen and her husband
The 77-year-old celebrated the final of the BBC’s creative writing competition and However, it was hard to take eyes off the dazzling accessory estimated to be worth over £32,000.
Her Majesty pinned the show-stopping accessory to her black Fiona Clare blazer. The piece features a silver setting with glittering diamonds shaped like a Tudor Crown.
Meanwhile, the base is adorned with a single sapphire, ruby, and emerald. Queen Camilla is fond of ruby gemstones and frequently sports them in her collection of precious jewels.
However, she was born in July and the birthstone for that month is the ruby – a gem known for its beauty, rarity, and high value.

Queen Camilla last wore the piece back in 2023 during a visit to the Bangladeshi community of Brick Lane.
Meanwhile, jewellery experts at shared their knowledge of the brooch and explained that it is steeped in history.
He said: “Queen Camilla’s striking brooch is rich in both sentiment and history. Designed in the shape of the Tudor Crown, the silver piece is set with dazzling diamonds, while its base is adorned with a single sapphire, ruby, and emerald.”
Adding that the Tudor Crown carries “deep royal significance”, Maxwell went on to share that King Charles “chose it for his royal cypher upon ascending the throne in 2022.”

Maxwell Stone continued: “Though the exact origins of the brooch remain unconfirmed, it is highly likely that it was a heartfelt gift from King Charles to his wife, symbolising their bond and shared royal heritage.”
Due to the precious heritage, Maxwell claimed it was “challenging” to put a price on the regal design. He said, “I would estimate Queen Camilla’s brooch to be worth around $40,00 [£32,00].”
Camilla looked stunning for the event and opted for a timeless and classic look and went to one of her two go-to designers, Fiona Clare.
The London-based designer’s apparel featured a dark blue skirt and a black jacket, which Queen Camilla paired with black boots by Russel & Bromley.
