The UK is bracing for another period of wintry weather as a 522-mile wall of hits the country from Northumberland to Cornwall.
New maps from WXCHARTS, which uses MetDesk data, have revealed that the barrage will occur on March 9, also bringing rain and cold temperatures.
are due to be in the North of England and Wales, where dustings will fall at around 1cm an hour.
In England, this will impact areas such as Northumberland, the Lake District, and North Yorkshire. In Wales, a much larger portion of the country is due to see snow, stretching from Bangor in the north to the Brecon Beacons in the south.
Scotland is also expected and Scottish Borders, though levels will be lower, only getting to around 1cm deep.

Rain is also due to inundate parts of the UK, particularly along the east coast of England from Northumberland to Kent.
Some of of up to 2mm an hour, but the average level will be lower, at around 0.3mm an hour.
Compounding this, the air temperature is set to drop on March 8, getting to as low as -6C in the Scottish Highlands. In England, however, it will be around -3C, with some slightly milder areas along the south coast.

Separately, the long range forecast for March 4-13 reads: “A split in weather conditions is likely across the UK during early March. Northwestern areas will see some rain and stronger winds at times, as Atlantic weather systems arrive from the west.
“These spells of wet and windy weather will drift southeast to some degree, but will weaken. High pressure is likely to have more influence across the south of the UK, at least at first.
“Here, there should be a good deal of fine/dry weather at first with a chance of night frosts and morning fog patches, but some pleasantly mild afternoons, and feeling warm in the sunshine.
“However, towards mid-March, there is an increasing chance of unsettled conditions becoming more widely dominant across the UK with more in the way of rain at times, even in the south.”

Early frost and fog will lift during the morning to leave a largely dry day with plenty of sunshine. However, a little more cloud will bubble up during the afternoon, and the far northwest will be breezy with isolated showers.
Tonight:
England and Wales will have a dry night with clear periods and light winds. Frost and fog reforming. Meanwhile, a band of rain moving southeast across Scotland and Northern Ireland.
Saturday:
Cloud and increasingly patchy rain continues moving southeast into Northern England. Frost and fog clearing to sunny spells further south. Skies brightening across Scotland and Northern Ireland. Isolated showers developing.
Outlook for Sunday to Tuesday:
Southern areas will remain largely dry with sunny spells by day and frost and fog overnight. Further north there will be more cloud, with rain and strong winds at times.
