Princess Kate was spotted wearing some teardrop hoop earrings – and we have found similar (Image: Getty / Not on the high-street )
added a touch of sparkle to her crimson ensemble yesterday. She complimented her pillar box red Alexander McQueen coat with a pair of red teardrop gemstone earrings from the brand Spells of Love jewellery. It’s not the first time the Princess has been spotted wearing the brand; she also wore a necklace from the collection previously.
Yesterday, however, the Princess of Wales opted for the brand’s on a joint engagement with her husband

This was a sweet nod to the Welsh-owned brand, based in Caerffili, as the couple visited Pontypridd Market in Wales. The teardrop-shaped earrings, which hang from a gold hoop, retail for £89 – though they are currently sold out.
Princess Kate supports the brand and first started wearing its designs in August 2020, when she was spotted wearing a pair of gold Alia Hoop earrings on a visit to Barry Island.
The princess has also been spotted wearing a necklace by Spells of Love, as well as three other pairs of earrings.
If you love her look, we’ve found a selection of earrings with a similar aesthetic – some of which are a cut of the price.
The Garnet Red Teardrop Earrings are now £28.50 after being reduced from £36 (Image: Not on the highstreet)
The Garnet earrings from a small brand on Not on The High Street are a remarkably similar match to Princess Kate’s, featuring a similar teardrop and hoop design. However, the main difference is the slightly longer shape of the hoop compared to the rounded shape of the Spells of Love earrings.
If you’re looking to copy her aesthetic on a budget, these are a great choice, as they are more than half of the price of Kate’s earrings.
The Red Heart Charm Huggies by Astrid & Miyu feature a sweet heart-shaped stone (Image: Astrid & Miyu)
Astrid & Miyu’s Huggie hoops are another purse-friendly option. They offer the same elegant aesthetic but retail for just £65. However, rather than a teardrop, these earrings offer a hint of whimsy in the form of crimson heart-shaped pendant charms.
You may have heard of Astrid & Miyu, as the London-based jewellery brand is also a go-to for Kate’s sister, Pippa Middleton.
The Swarovski Bella drop earrings retail for £79 (Image: Swarovski)
Swarovski is a household name when it comes to sparkling crystal jewellery, and the brand’s Bella drop earrings are great if you’re looking for a more rounded shape and larger gemstone. In a similar shade of red, the crystal pendants are housed in a gold-plated casing. The actual hoop is closer to the ear compared with the earrings worn by Princess Kate.
If you like the style of Kate’s earrings but prefer to wear different colours, there are also blue, green and baby pink options. We particularly like the blue, which is a similar shade to Princess Kate’s sapphire engagement ring.
The Beatrice earrings from Wolf and Badger are a glitzy alternative (Image: Wolf and Badger )
If you’re looking for something a little more glitzy, the Beatrice earrings Wolf and Badger brand could be a fantastic option. They feature a more eye-catching design than the understated pair Princess Kate was spotted in.
The oval gemstone is surrounded by a sparkling band of sparkling cubic zirconia, which does explain the slightly higher price tag of £99. But they are a worthy investment if you want to add a luxurious accessory to your collection. There are also eight different colours to choose from.
