This Morning saw a lively start on Thursday (February 27) as host kicked things off with co-presenter Cat Deeley, alerting viewers to “news just in”.
The studio buzzed with anticipation as the popular TV figure revealed their exclusive schedule sneak peek, which included a chat with the 90s sensation Five, announcing their much-awaited reunion after a 25-year hiatus.
Cat was quite excited and began to perform some of their iconic moves. However, her co-host wasn’t convinced, asking her: “Is that what they did?” She shot back saying: “It’s what they did in my head.”
It was at this point that Ben announced: “Exciting news just in, it was revealed this morning that British boyband Five are back.”
“25 years since the band last performed together and Abs, Jay, Ritchie, Scott and Shaun will all be here to tell us everything about reuniting and their upcoming nationwide tour,” added Cat.
The pair also reminisced about Cat presenting Five with their first-ever Brit Award, a memory that brought smiles and nostalgia. Fans of the heartthrob band were left disconsolate over two decades ago when the group took a leave from chart-topping success.
