Carol Kirkwood was left “shocked” after her BBC Breakfast co-star made a dig at her live on-air.
The TV star was back on screens with the latest weather news during Thursday’s (27 February) instalment of the morning show, which Naga and .
After Carol hosted one of the show’s first weather bulletins of the day, she handed it back over to Naga and Charlie, prompting a cheeky comment from Naga.
As Carol told viewers to keep an eye on the weather, Naga interjected: “Or we could listen to you in half an hour, that’ll make a change!” Carol then jokingly told her Breakfast co-star: “Naga, the things you say to me. I’m shocked!”
Laughing, Naga then cheekily added: “You love it. See you later,” as she and Carol both began laughing before the main show resumed.

Elsewhere in Thursday’s Breakfast, Charlie and Naga chatted to Technology Secretary Peter Kyle about planned changes to copyright law and Sir Jon Cunliffe about his independent commission on fixing the England and Wales water industry.
The hosts also interviewed Paul Woodhouse from the British Dental Association about changes to dental access and gave viewers the latest on Prime Minister ‘s upcoming visit to the US to meet President .
Naga’s dig at Carol comes after the weather presenter was forced to apologise following a huge blunder live on-air during Tuesday’s (18 February) episode of Breakfast.
During the programme, Jon Kay was seen hosting alongside Sarah Campbell, who was substituting for – Jon’s regular partner in starting the week’s broadcasts.

Carol seemed to be caught off guard by the switch-up. After delivering the weather update, Carol remarked: “It’s Thursday that we’ll all be in that milder air, Jon and Sal.”
The moment she realised she had mistakenly referred to Sarah as ‘Sal’, she visibly gasped in surprise. Jon and Sarah noticed the mistake and laughed before Carol corrected herself. Laughing in embarrassment, she said: “Sarah! Sorry.”
While the presenters were joking about Carol’s blip, Sarah could be heard saying: “I didn’t hear what she said!” While Jon added: “Shh, don’t tell her, don’t tell her.”
