The hob needs to be cool before starting the cleaning process, and the power source must always be disconnected beforehand if you have an electric stove.
Next, spray water generously over the greasy areas of your stovetop, sprinkle over baking soda to create a paste, and leave it to sit for five minutes.
Gently clean the stovetop using a soft cloth. The pros claimed: “Baking soda’s gentle abrasiveness will help melt away stubborn grease stains.”

Lastly, rinse your cloth or sponge and wipe down the stovetop. Then, use a clean, dry cloth to buff the stovetop to a “sparkling shine”.
However, if your hob has some tougher marks that have remained on the surface, you may need to take additional steps.
You will need a hob scraper to remove the toughest burnt-on food from a ceramic hob.
The best way to do this is to scrape the food off in small sections, tackling each piece of burnt-on food one at a time.

Always minimise the angle of the scraper on the hob so the scraper blade is as horizontal as possible. This further reduces any risk of scratches.
Wipe down your stovetop after each use to prevent grease build-up so your hob is kept looking its best.
