Jimmy Kimmel found another awkward moment by Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, who this week announced he wants to mimic President Donald Trump and Elon Musk’s efforts to cut spending and shrink the government workforce.
But it’s not the policy that stood out most to Kimmel.
“In Florida, Gov. Ron DeSantis held a press conference to announce he’s now forming his own DOGE task force on a state level, and also he wanted to do this weird thing to his face,” Kimmel said, and rolled the clip:
“Do we have any questions?” DeSantis, who has a history of unsettling gestures, asked in the video.
“I have a question,” Kimmel said. “Could we see that again, but slower this time?”
Kimmel offered a play-by-play over the slow-motion footage.
“As if Florida wasn’t gross enough,” he concluded.
