star said being single is “awful” and is making her feel “isolated”.
The 63-year-old announced her split from fiancé Ben Ofoedu after 16 years together back in January 2023, after he was unfaithful.
Despite several dates since then and appearing on Celebs Go Dating, it appears Vanessa is still yet to find the one for her.
Opening up about her love life, she told The Independent: “There is this vacuum of silence.
“People tell me I should feel liberated and great about it but I feel awful, completely cut adrift, a castaway, isolated, and it’s a horrid feeling.”

Previously revealing what she is looking for in a partner, she wrote in her memoir Vanessa Bares All: “I just want somebody nice.
“I’m not asking for miracles, but they’ve got to be a bit attractive.
“There has to be chemistry and fun. I’m not in despair or abject panic, but it would be very nice.”
Last year, the mother-of-two revealed she had fallen for somebody her friends set her up with, however it wasn’t quite the happy ending she had hoped for.
The presenter said she “liked him from the very first second” they met and went on to have a “sublime date”.

“It’s just great,” she gushed on the Suddenly Single podcast. “From the second he gets there it’s fabulous. We’re just having a lovely, excellent time.”
Vanessa said the date was a success, lasting six hours and ending with a 15-minute-long kiss.
However, the host said she received some disappointing news from the mystery man just three days later.
Recalling the message he sent, she said: “[He wrote] ‘I hope your shoot on Sunday went well. Although I very much enjoyed the evening, I do not think we have a romantic future’.”
Blindsided by the response, Vanessa said she started “to shake from shock”.
“I just was not expecting that at all. I just can’t think I misread signals,” she added.
Vanessa was previously married to surgeon Michael Kurer from 1983 to 2000.
The former couple share two daughters together; Allegra, 39, and Saskia, 36.
While she continues her quest to find love again, her ex Ben recently got engaged to his new partner Vanessa Brown, 29, reportedly after just a few weeks of dating.
