Emmerdale’s Nate Robinson star’s life since leaving soap – Christmas advert to new role

Emmerdale’s Nate Robinson actor Jurell Carter has left fans gobsmacked after revealing his recent role.

The 32-year-old’s, who exited the popular ITV soap in September, character has been at the heart of a gripping recent storyline involving a limousine plunging into an icy lake, leading to the tragic deaths of characters Amy Wyatt, Suzy Merton, and Leyla Harding.

In a shocking twist, Amy, before succumbing to her injuries, discovered another corpse submerged in the lake, hinting it could be Nate’s. As the identity of the dead body remains shrouded in mystery, with the show teasing it could indeed be Nate, fans are eager to know what actor Jurell has been up to since his departure from .

Taking to in November, Jurell revealed he voiced the Christmas adverts for Sephora, much to the amazement of his followers, particularly as he adopted an American accent for the role, reports .

Sharing snippets of the adverts, Jurell wrote: “Had the pleasure of voicing the new @sephora Christmas ads [Christmas tree, heart and American flag emoji]… @damngoodvoices @hungrymaninc @750_mph @tbwachiatla.”

Fans and his 24.8K followers were quick to express their surprise and admiration in the comments section.

One person said: “No way! I’d never have guessed..what a voice”, a different account put: “This is mad! Sounds nothing like you.. love it!”, another wrote: “Wow completely different from Nate.Would love to see u on a TV show in the States using ur American accent!”, a different fan said: “Wow sounding great” while another added: “Watching TV in Canada & just saw one of your ads live!”

Jurell’s former co-stars also shared their praise as Michelle Hardwick, who plays Vanessa Woodfield, said: “Amazing” with praise hand emojis, Beth Cordingly, who plays Ruby Fox-Miligan, said: “Yay you rock!” while Eden Taylor-Draper, who plays Belle Dingle, added shocked and clapping emojis.

In other news, Jurell has been keeping busy with other new ventures post-. He’s currently starring in the UK touring production of Boys from the Blackstuff, James Graham’s poignant take on Alan Bleasdale’s television drama.

Taking to Stories on Tuesday night, Jurell shared his excitement for the opening day in Bath, posting the play’s poster.
