Emmerdale fans ‘work out’ who really sent Frankie’s gift as Nate’s killer ‘confirmed’

has seemingly revealed the true sender of Tracy Metcalfe’s daughter’s gift, and it wasn’t Nate Robinson.

Nate (Jurell Carter) has been a topic of conversation in recent weeks, months after his departure from the village. Fans will remember that Nate bid farewell to the Dales in September for a fresh start in Shetland. However, following last week’s devastating limo crash which claimed three lives, the soap hinted at Nate’s demise.

In distressing scenes, Amy Barton (Natalie Ann Jamieson) plunged into freezing waters where she spotted another body submerged, believed to be Nate. Despite her attempts to disclose what she saw in her final moments at the hospital, her husband Matty (Ash Palmisciano) misunderstood her words, and she tragically passed away later.

This has sparked rumours that Nate is the deceased individual under the water, with John Sugden (Oliver Farnworth) suspected as his murderer. Tuesday’s episode (February 25) added another layer of mystery.

At the beginning of the episode, Nate’s ex and baby mother Tracy (Amy Walsh) was shocked to receive an unexpected parcel: a birthday present from Nate for their daughter Frankie’s fourth birthday.

The speculation heated up as another fan responded: “Tracy! I’ve said it for months I hope it turns out that she’s the killer.” Others joined in the conjecture, with comments like: “What if all along the real killer has been Tracy.”

Another mused: “You might be onto something, she could have sent that parcel to herself to cover her tracks.” Someone else added to the frenzy, saying: “I like this theory! It’s a twist we wouldn’t see coming that’s for sure.”
