Emmerdale viewers are convinced they’ve pieced together the mystery of who actually murdered Nate Robinson (Jurell Carter) following a distressing discovery by Amy Wyatt (Natalie Jamieson) in a frozen lake where she came across his corpse.
In her final tragic moments, Amy muttered Nate’s name to Matty Barton (Ash Palmisciano), although it remains unknown if he caught her words.
Yet in a twist from Tuesday evening’s episode, Nate’s young daughter Frankie received a birthday present purportedly from him – sparking queries about the ‘true’ sender.
At Frankie’s birthday, (Jeff Hordley) delivers a gift and also presents Tracy (Amy Walsh) with a package found on her doorstep.
An appreciative Tracy remarked: “Thank you for remembering it’s her birthday with everything going on,” then curious about Frankie’s gift added, “What is it, darling, and who is it from?” reports .

Utterly surprised, Tracy announced, “Oh, it’s from Daddy,” She encouraged, “Well, go in then, go see what he has got you.”
When Cain probed whether Tracy had heard from Nate that day, she responded, “No, nothing. No change there. What about you?”
Cain’s headshake prompted Tracy to divulge, “I called him, I left a message about the crash and everything…nothing.”
Cain observed, “Well, at least he sent Frankie a present.”

To which Tracy pointed out her daughter would have preferred Nate’s presence over any gift, but Cain tried to comfort her saying, “Well, it is something.”
Since the confirmation that Nate’s body was indeed in the lake, fans have been buzzing with speculation, sharing theories about the circumstances of his death and who could be responsible.
Speculation is rife in the community as fans attempt to unravel recent mysterious events. Potential suspects like (portrayed by Will Ash) and John Sugden (played by Olivier Farnworth) have been suggested, but attention has shifted unexpectedly.
During a solemn vigil within the church confines, a curious scene unfolded with Manpreet Sharma (Rebecca Sarker) seen discreetly messaging an unidentified recipient – an act that did not escape the watchful eyes of viewers at home.
